Terms & Conditions

Last updated: January 8, 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of our website rentgoaqaba.com (the “Website”) and the car rental intermediary services provided by RentGo Aqaba (“we”, “us”, “our”) under the concept “Car Rental Aqaba No Deposit, No Credit Card”, in cooperation with local car rental companies (the “Local Partners’).

By browsing the Website, submitting a booking request or using our services in any way, you agree to these Terms.
Please read them carefully before confirming a rental.

1. General Information

  • 1.1. RentGo Aqaba operates as an independent intermediary and marketing platform.
We do not own vehicles; instead, we cooperate with independent Local Partners in Aqaba and the surrounding region.
  • 1.2. The Website allows you to view offers and send booking requests.
The final rental agreement is always concluded directly between you and the Local Partner (the “Supplier”).
  • 1.3. All bookings are subject to vehicle availability, Supplier confirmation and the Supplier’s own terms and
conditions, which apply in addition to these Terms.
  • 1.4. By using our services, you confirm that you meet the driver and age requirements
described in the offer, these Terms and the Supplier’s rental agreement.

2. Booking and Payment

  • 2.1. Booking requests can be submitted via the Website, by email or via other communication channels indicated on the Website.
  • 2.2. Some offers follow the “Car Rental Aqaba No Deposit, No Credit Card” concept, meaning no or low deposit and the possibility to pay by debit card or cash on arrival. However, not all offers are deposit-free and some Suppliers may still require a credit card.
  • 2.3. For each offer, the applicable payment methods (credit card, debit card, cash) and any deposit or excess are indicated before you confirm your booking request and are further specified in the Supplier’s rental agreement.
  • 2.4. Prices normally include the elements stated in the offer, such as:
    • basic insurance required by local law,
    • a standard mileage allowance or unlimited mileage,
    • local taxes, where applicable.

Optional extras (child seats, GPS, additional driver, extended insurance, out-of-hours service, etc.) may be charged
as extra daily or fixed fees.

  • 2.5. Currency information (for example JOD, USD, EUR) is shown in the offer. Where prices appear in more than one currency, the Supplier’s rental agreement and payment currency prevail.

3. Driver Requirements

  • 3.1. Drivers must meet the minimum age specified by the Supplier and in the offer (for example 21–25 years, depending on vehicle category and policy).
  • 3.2. A valid driving licence must be presented at pickup. In some cases, an International Driving Permit (IDP) may be required in addition to your national licence, according to local regulations and Supplier rules.
  • 3.3. Drivers may be required to have held a driving licence for a minimum period (for example 1–3 years). Exact requirements are set by the Supplier.
  • 3.4. Additional drivers must be declared at the time of booking or at pickup and may be subject to additional fees. Only drivers listed in the rental agreement are allowed to drive the vehicle.

4. Insurance and Liability

  • 4.1. All rentals include at least basic third-party liability insurance as required by applicable local law, provided by the Supplier.
  • 4.2. Optional covers (such as collision damage waiver, theft protection, excess reduction or full cover) may be offered at an additional cost. Coverage, exclusions and conditions are defined by the Supplier and set out in the rental agreement.
  • 4.3. Insurance generally does not cover:
    • driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs,
    • reckless or dangerous driving, racing or other prohibited use,
    • use on non-authorised roads (for example certain off-road or desert tracks),
    • driving by non-authorised drivers.
  • 4.4. Damage to specific parts of the vehicle (such as tyres, wheels, glass, underbody, interior, roof) may not be covered under standard policies. Always check the detailed insurance terms in the offer and rental agreement.
  • 4.5. In the event of accident, theft or damage, you must follow the Supplier’s procedures, which may include contacting the Supplier immediately, notifying the police and completing incident forms. Failure to follow these steps may affect coverage and your financial responsibility.

5. Vehicle Use

  • 5.1. The vehicle must be used responsibly and in compliance with local traffic laws and the Supplier’s conditions.
  • 5.2. Unless expressly authorised, vehicles may only be used within permitted territories specified by the Supplier (typically within Jordan). Cross-border travel or use in restricted areas (for example deep desert tracks) may be prohibited or require prior written approval.
  • 5.3. Vehicles may not be used for illegal activities, racing, towing, driving lessons, or commercial passenger transport (e.g. taxi, ride-hailing) unless explicitly authorised by the Supplier and insurance.
  • 5.4. Smoking and carrying pets in the vehicle are only permitted if agreed with the Supplier and may result in additional
    cleaning or damage fees.
  • 5.5. The renter is responsible for all fines, penalties, tolls, parking tickets and similar charges incurred during the rental period.

6. Fuel and Mileage

  • 6.1. The fuel policy (for example “full-to-full” or “same-to-same”) is defined by the Supplier and stated in the offer and rental agreement. You must return the vehicle in line with this policy.
  • 6.2. Some offers include unlimited mileage, while others set a daily mileage limit (for example 200–250 km/day). If you exceed the included mileage, additional charges per kilometre may apply according to the Supplier’s tariff.
  • 6.3. Exact fuel policy, mileage rules and any additional per-km charges are stated in the offer prior to booking and confirmed in the rental agreement. It is your responsibility to review and respect these conditions.

7. Pickup and Return

  • 7.1. Typical pickup and return locations include King Hussein International Airport (AQJ), central Aqaba hotels and other designated areas, depending on the offer and Supplier.
  • 7.2. The vehicle must be collected and returned at the agreed time and place. Late returns may result in additional charges, including extra rental days, according to the Supplier’s policy.
  • 7.3. At pickup, you should inspect the vehicle and ensure any existing damage is recorded in the rental documents. At return, the vehicle should be in the same condition, allowing for normal wear and tear.
  • 7.4. Failure to return the vehicle as agreed, or abandoning the vehicle without notice, may lead to extra fees and potential legal consequences.

8. Cancellations and Modifications

  • 8.1. Cancellation and modification rules (including free-cancellation periods and fees) are indicated in each offer and may vary by Supplier, season and rate type.
  • 8.2. Cancellations made within the free-cancellation period, where offered, are usually without penalty. Late cancellations, no-shows or significant last-minute changes may incur charges up to the full rental amount.
  • 8.3. Changes to vehicle category, rental dates, pickup/return location or extras are subject to availability and may affect the price. The Supplier’s policy on modifications applies.

9. Role of RentGo Aqaba and Liability

  • 9.1. RentGo Aqaba acts as an intermediary between you and the Supplier. We facilitate the presentation of offers and the transfer of booking information. The rental contract is concluded directly between you and the Supplier, who is responsible for providing the vehicle and associated services.
  • 9.2. We strive to present accurate and up-to-date information, but details such as prices, availability, vehicle images and conditions are provided by Suppliers and may change. In case of discrepancy, the information in your confirmed booking and rental agreement with the Supplier prevails.
  • 9.3. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RentGo Aqaba is not liable for:
    • indirect or consequential losses (such as missed flights, lost business or loss of enjoyment),
    • delays, breakdowns, accidents, weather conditions, traffic, road closures or other events beyond our reasonable control,
    • acts or omissions of Suppliers or other third parties.
  • 9.4. Roadside assistance, replacement vehicles and operational support during the rental are provided in accordance
with the Supplier’s policy and contact details in your rental documents.

    • uploading or transmitting malicious code or harmful content.

mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply in your country of residence.
  • 11.2. We aim to resolve any disputes amicably. If no amicable solution is reached, disputes may be submitted to the
